A leading and renowned conference and events venue is recruiting for a commercially minded and savvy Business Development Leader.

You will be the driving force behind their revenue growth and market expansion across their MICE and commercial business. Responsible for building and nurturing relationships with key clients. With creativity and strategic thinking which is key in developing and executing innovative sales strategies that sets them apart from the competition.

You’ll lead the sales and events team to develop an ethos of high quality of service, customer loyalty and retention.

What do you need to qualify for this role?

  • It essential you have your own transport and can travel as required
  • Experience in working within a proactive sales role, with set targets and objectives within hospitality, hotels or venues
  • Ability to lead, train, and develop others
  • It is essential you are driven, very well presented personally, can act on your own initiative where appropriate
  • Exhibit a methodical and systematic approach, maintaining high levels of organisation
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills and attention to detail
