Sonic Summary

Our client is seeking a Commercial Manager for substation projects across the UK, based in either Nottingham or Birmingham.
The position is an initial 6-month contract with an ASAP start and is categorized as inside IR35.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing quantity surveying roles, specifically in substation or overhead line projects.
The role requires strong negotiation, interpersonal, communication, analytical, and financial skills, along with proficiency in IT applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
A driving license is also required for this position, which offers a competitive salary.

One of our clients are looking for a Commercial Manager to assist them in dealing with various substation projects across the UK.

The role would be based out of either Nottingam/Birmingham office.

The role:
- ASAP Start
- Initial 6 month contract
- Inside IR35
- Hybrid - minimum 3 days on site and the rest wfh

Requirements:
- Previous experience working on substation/ OHL projects preferred
- Previous experience in a Managing Quantity Surveying role
- Sub-Contract Management Experience
- Excellent negotiating interpersonal & communication skills
- Analytical skills, Financial awareness
- Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Driving licence
