SF Executive are proud to be working with a fantastic, high growth, Birmingham-based technology business that is seeking to appoint a Commercial Managing Director to head up their Communications services division (connectivity, mobile as a service, unified comms etc.) This role will be critical in the ongoing success of their business over the coming years. Offering a range of services from cloud and cyber security, to managed services, and tech transformation. In this role you will report into the CEO and be accountable for all aspects of business delivery in your division. You will have ownership of the divisional P&L and will be responsible for the growth in sales and profitability.

In this role you will:

  • be accountable for all aspects of business delivery in the business division
  • be accountable for the growth in sales and profitability in the division
  • create and implement of a divisional strategy, aligned to the group strategy
  • manage of all business operations in assigned divisions to achieve company goals
  • develop and implement best practices to ensure operational efficiency
  • apply understanding of the industry sector, including technology and competitor analysis
  • develop new business programs to meet productivity and revenue goals

The successful applicant will have:

  • a strong background in the technology industry working with communications, including mobile, UC, telephony, and connectivity
  • a track record of successful commercial leadership and growth
  • experience of driving operations, sales, and increasing profitability and productivity across a business
  • tangible experience of having full P&L responsibility
  • experience of strategising, forecasting, and executing company growth plans through sales, process improvement and innovation

This role will be based out of Birmingham and operate on a hybrid model
