A leading healthcare organisation is seeking a Marketing Director to drive the B2B marketing strategy for its portfolio of consumer medical devices in the UK & Ireland. This role will focus on building partnerships, generating leads, and expanding the market presence of devices like hearing aids, prescription eyewear, mobility aids, and more. Key target audiences include healthcare providers, retailers, distributors, and the private sector.
While the company doesn't sell all the medical devices mentioned below, these are examples of the types of products you will help market and grow:
- Hearing aids and assistive listening technologies
- Prescription eyewear and contact lenses
- Mobility aids and orthotic devices
- Personal health technologies (e.g. wearable health monitors, light therapy)
The ideal candidate will have experience in consumer medical devices marketing within a B2B environment, with expertise in lead generation, brand positioning, and cross-functional team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead B2B Marketing Strategy: Define and implement a B2B marketing roadmap to grow market share for consumer medical devices across healthcare providers, retailers, and distributors.
- Lead Generation and Demand Creation: Execute strategic marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads and expand product reach. Focus on products like:
- Hearing aids
- Prescription eyewear
- Home diagnostic devices
- Mobility aids
- Personal health technologies
- Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Engage key business customers using ABM strategies, targeting retailers, distributors, and healthcare providers.
- Brand Positioning and Market Penetration: Position the company as a trusted partner in the consumer medical device space, fostering ongoing relationships with healthcare providers and retailers.
- Team Leadership and Development: Manage and mentor a team of 5+ marketing professionals, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use market research and analytics to optimise campaigns, refine messaging, and enhance lead generation.
- Partnership and Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and industry influencers, to drive brand advocacy.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in B2B marketing within consumer medical devices, MedTech, or healthcare.
- Proven success in B2B marketing strategies for healthcare providers, retailers, and distributors.
- Experience with products like:
- Hearing aids
- Prescription eyewear
- Diagnostic devices
- Mobility aids
- Sleep and respiratory devices
- Personal health technology
- Experience in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and lead generation for B2B audiences.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams of 5+ marketing professionals.
- Expertise in digital marketing, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot), and analytics tools.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- A data-driven approach to decision-making and adapting strategies to meet business goals.
Role Details:
- Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 (DOE) + benefits
- Location: Hybrid role – 40% office-based in Birmingham, with occasional travel across the UK & Ireland.
- Travel: Occasional national and international travel required.
