Business Development Manager - Total Waste ManagementNationwide£50,000 - £55,000pa + car allowance + bonusFantastic nationwide opportunity for a senior Business Development / Sales professional with sound commercial knowledge of the General Waste sector, to join a forward-thinking industry leader. The successful applicant will tailor and develop Total Waste management solutions for the Manufacturing sector. You will be proposing strategic solutions encompassing CI, cost saving, best practice and environmental sustainability. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and implementing new high value contracted services.
  • Effective and detailed pipeline management.
  • Accurately maintaining data within the CRM platform.
  • Managing the entire sales process from lead generation to handing-over to the operations team.
  • Responding to tenders and requests for information.
  • Working closely with existing teams to deliver the ideal solution for the client

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Strong track record in Sales and Business Development, selling high-value contracted services.
  • Knowledge of Waste industry legislation would be advantageous.
  • Experience of successfully developing, managing and implementing new business services
  • Good presentation, selling, negotiating and influential skills.
  • Experience of Bid writing and the ability to respond to tendering documentation.
  • Experience of building and maintaining customer relationships
