National Specification Sales Manager Bathrooms

Job Title: National Specification Sales Manager - Bathrooms

Industry Sector: Regional Housebuilders, Interior Designers, Boutique Hotels, Residential Buildings, Specification Sales, KBB and Bathroom Industry

Area to be covered: National - ideally based between the M4 and M62Remuneration: Up to £65,000 Neg. + up to £20,000 Bonus

Benefits: Hybrid or electric car & full benefitsThe role of the National Specification Sales Manager - Bathrooms will involve:

  • Player manager field sales position, selling our clients mid-premium manufactured ranges of bathrooms
  • Managing an experienced team or two other field sales professionals (based in the South West and South East)
  • Majority of your time focussed on winning specifications with regional housebuilders and private house builder developers (typically housebuilders that build less than 100 houses per annum) as well as commercial projects such as boutique/ independent hotels
  • Typically targeting Managing Directors, Sales Directors and Construction Directors
  • Responsible for a team target of £3m of won specifications
  • Working in conjunction with a key accounts field sales team that manages the transactions/ relationships with the plumbers merchants
  • Predominantly new business development role (mix of following up glenigan leads and self-generated leads)

The ideal applicant will be a National Specification Sales Manager - Bathrooms with:

  • Must have sold into the regional housebuilder sector
  • Must have some field sales management experience
  • Open to all interior building product backgrounds
  • Specific knowledge of bathrooms or KBB is not essential
  • Consultative selling technique
  • Entrepreneurial self starter
  • Contacts within Directors of regional housebuilders may be advantageous
  • Mentoring and coaching capability
  • Excellent communicator
