Seeking a great PMO lead to join a well known brand. Birmingham based, very hybrid £70k base + bonus and benefits. The Project Management Office (PMO) and Projects Lead is responsible for overseeing the project management framework, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and align with our strategy The role will also be responsible for overseeing a number of key projects, to be agreed, and for supporting our chosen project management tool (Monday.com) in terms of licenses, access, and best practices. This position works with many teams including sales, marketing, human resources, and operations teams, with an emphasis on ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed milestones, KPIs and cost/ profitability parameters. The ability to help project leads develop and drive SMART KPIs across projects is critical. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement agreed project management methodologies and standards. Monitor and report on the progress of Propel projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets. Help project managers set SMART KPIs for each project Train a core group of employees on best practice project management techniques Provide leadership, mentorship, and training for project managers and the CIP leads. Track and analyse project performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, Project Management, or a related field; PMP or similar certification preferred, together with membership of the Project Management Institute or similar professional organisation. Proven experience in project management and leadership (at least 5 years). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Knowledge of Monday.com would be a positive. Skills: Demonstrable strength in project and change management Leadership and team management, team player Strategic planning and execution Financial acumen related to project budgets Risk assessment and mitigation Stakeholder engagement Experience of working in a matrix organisation International experience and cultural awareness Strong influencing skills Can do attitude and attention to detail, self-driven Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven skills in collaborating positively with colleagues in a broad range of roles Excellent verbal/written communication skills, strong analytics, and sound judgment Effective time management and organisational skills European languages - particularly French, German, Spanish or Dutch - a plus.
