Job Description:
- Build strong relationships with contractors, architects, and industry partners to generate new commercial sales and business opportunities.
- Use company resources to research potential leads and engage in cold calling to create permanent sales.
- Maintain and grow relationships with current customers to ensure satisfaction and continued business.
- Track sales progress and update CRM with relevant information on leads, prospects, and opportunities.
- Demonstrate and communicate detailed product knowledge to effectively influence sales decisions.
- Work closely with the Sales team, customer operations, and logistics to ensure smooth transactions and customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals, KPIs, and performance targets.
Person Specification:
- At least 1-3 years of technical sales experience, preferably in construction or building materials.
- Confident and resilient individual who thrives in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential for engaging with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work, and stay on top of sales opportunities.
- Self-motivated and determined to meet or exceed sales goals, with experience in territory sales strategy execution.
- Strong skills in presentation, negotiation, and closing sales.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
- Comfortable working independently, as well as part of a team.
