Outstanding opportunity here for a Senior Architectural Technician to join a growing Architectural practice based in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham city centre.
The practice have gone from strength to strength over the last few years, growing to over 40 members of staff and recently moving into new offices in the city centre. The practice work across a wide range of sectors as a whole, which includes; healthcare, commercial, industrial, retail and more. Prior experience in healthcare would be ideal although not necessarily essential.
Due to continued and sustained increase in workloads the practice are seeking to appoint a Senior, or close to Senior, Architectural Technician on a permanent basis. The position will see you leading jobs, often multiple jobs at a time, on healthcare & commercial projects throughout the Midlands region. There may also be need to lead a small team and the opportunity to grow your own team in the not too distant future.
The practice utilise AutoCAD and Revit software. AutoCAD experience would be essential for this role and Revit desirable. Training can be provided in house on Revit where required.
Key requirements of the Senior Architectural Technician as follows:
- Possess a degree in Architectural Technology or a HNC/HND in a related field.
- At least 5-10 years of industry experience, and ideally already operating at a senior level.
- AutoCAD proficiency (essential) Revit proficiency (desirable)
- Team leading and job running capabilities.
- Ambition to progress through the ranks towards Associate level and beyond.
In return, the Senior Architectural Technician will be offered a salary in the region of 38,000-45,000 per annum alongside a competitive benefits package.
