Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be exclusively working with one of the fastest growing health and beauty brands, based in Birmingham to recruit for a CRM Executive on a permanent, full time basis.

Location: Birmingham

Salary: 25,000-28,000

Contract: Permanent, hybrid (2 days a week)

Role Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to work with the CRM Manager to oversee and manage the CRM calendar, ensuring the successful delivery of key day-to-day campaigns, including newsletters, brand promotions, and the implementation of strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the retention team in creating and delivering top-tier customer experiences across email, inserts, and SMS marketing.
  • Lead the daily management of the email schedule, working closely with the Senior CRM Manager and stakeholders to coordinate campaigns and promotions.
  • Organise and deliver various types of emails (e.g. promotional, newsletters, service messages) using Klaviyo.
  • Maintain and update email communications planners and reports, sharing insights with relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of key campaigns, from creation to delivery, collaborating with multiple teams (e.g. brand, creative, retention).
  • Use data insights to define campaign targeting and evaluate campaign performance, presenting findings to retention and brand teams.
  • Participate in cross-team project groups to plan integrated campaigns for key events such as Christmas and Black Friday.
  • Implement quarterly test-and-learn plans to optimise performance.
  • Work with the Email Service Provider (ESP) to identify new opportunities and maintain a strong knowledge of the system.
  • Lead the creative process for email campaigns, working with the Creative and Digital teams to develop content briefs, optimise templates, and ensure effective quality assurance and testing.
  • Produce performance reports and analysis to provide recommendations and inform future campaign improvements.
  • Monitor industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and optimisation of email campaigns.
  • Attend industry events to stay informed of the latest innovations and opportunities in email marketing.

Candidate Criteria:

  • Basic HTML knowledge.
  • Strong briefing and coordination skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative appreciation and ability to work effectively with creative teams.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data.
  • Experience working with ESPs or marketing automation platforms, ideally Klaviyo or similar.
  • Quick learner and strong team player.
  • In-depth understanding of email marketing best practices.
  • Familiarity with email platforms, content, and delivery systems.
  • Knowledge of email optimisation for multiple devices and email interface development.
  • Ability to plan and optimise email content for performance.
  • Degree in marketing, digital, or a related field, or a minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering successful email marketing campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with ESPs or marketing automation platforms.
