Resident and Community Engagement Officer

About the Role:

As a Resident and Community Engagement Officer, you will play a vital role in fostering positive relationships between  residents, stakeholders, and the wider community.

You will be responsible for:

  • Resident Engagement: Actively listening to and addressing the needs and concerns of residents, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
  • Community Outreach: Building strong partnerships with local organizations, charities, and authorities to create vibrant and inclusive neighborhoods.
  • Safeguarding: Efficiently handling and resolving complaints, compliments, and safeguarding concerns, while identifying opportunities for service improvement.
  • Communication & Administration: Effectively communicating with residents, stakeholders, and internal teams, maintaining accurate records, and managing your time efficiently.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role (preferred)
  • Knowledge of community engagement principles and practices (preferred)
