Location: West Bromwich
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Friday: 6:30 AM - 1:30 PM
- Overtime: 1-2 hours per day available
- Saturdays: Required as needed
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Brake Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and setting up brake press machines, along with proficiency in reading, programming, and interpreting drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up brake press machines efficiently and safely.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Program brake press machines to produce parts to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
- Work overtime as needed and be available for most Saturdays.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Brake Press Operator.
- Strong knowledge of machine setup, operation, and programming.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
