- Set up and configure the Amada brake press machine according to job specifications and technical drawings.
- Adjust machine settings, including speed, angle, and pressure, to ensure optimal performance.
- Safely and efficiently handle raw materials, ensuring proper positioning for accurate bends and shapes.
- Operate the brake press machine with confidence to bend, shape, or cut raw materials based on blueprints and instructions.
- Monitor machine operations to identify and address any issues or deviations from the planned process.
- Inspect finished products to verify they meet quality standards and specifications, making necessary adjustments to correct defects or inconsistencies.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and replacing worn components. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Previous experience operating brake press machines is essential, preferably with Amada equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, including an understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances.
- Knowledge of machine setup, tooling, and programming.
- Experience in handling raw materials efficiently and safely.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct quality issues during production.
- Ability to program machines, create tools, and recognize tooling requirements based on experience.
- Confidence to work independently, using initiative and expertise to complete tasks effectively.
- Commitment to following health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Amada brake press training would be an advantage
