This is a permanent job for an experienced Brake Press Operator to join a manufacturing company based in Tyseley B11.
Brake Press Operator Overview:
- The company make secure door entry systems for public buildings.
- You will be responsible for operating a brake press.
Brake Press Duties:
- You will operate brake press machines to produce sheet metal components according to specifications.
- Responsible for setting up and adjusting machinery for optimal performance and efficiency.
- There is manual handling loading the sheets into the machines to be bent.
- Uploading the basic programs and following the paperwork for production qualities.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Brake Press Operator Experience:
- Experience in operating brake press machinery or similar equipment.
- Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments accurately.
- Maths skills are needed for interpreting measurements and specifications.
- A background in sheet metal fabrication is important.
Brake press Operator Hours:
- 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
- Overtime may be available
