Our client is a leading company specialising in manufacturing and stock of stainless-steel tubes and compression fittings. As specialist suppliers of instrumentation packages, we deliver to destinations worldwide.The right candidate will have experience working as a CNC operator, operating and maintaining computer numerically controlled machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.Key Responsibilities: -" Operating CNC machines such as Fanuc and Mazak for milling and turning operations." Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions" Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications" Adjust settings to optimise production output and quality" Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies" Plan & specify tooling requirements, including jigs and fixtures, tool changes and amendments including offset adjustments" Produce components within drawing tolerances/limits" Use measuring equipment such as verniers and callipers to maintain precision.Requirements: -" Competently operating CNC lathes, turners and Milling machines" Minimum of 2 years' experience operating computerised machinery" Experience using a range of measuring tools and equipment" Computer literate and experience using Microsoft office programme" Produce accurate high-quality componentsShift Details:" Monday - Thursday: 08:00am - 16:30pm Friday 08:00am- 12.30pm" 15 minutes break at 10:00am and a 1/2-hour lunch at 12:30pm" Overtime opportunities availableBenefits:" Competitive salary starting at £13.50 per hour" Opportunities for professional growth and development."
