Hours of work: Monday to Friday week 1: 7:30 till 16:30 / week 2: 08:30 to 17:00 / week 3: 8:00 16:30, Friday 1-hour early finish.

The client:

A brand that operates internationally and world leading manufacturers of precision tools catering for metal machining. they offer a great environment to work in for their employees, pristine site, and class machinery. The new Internal Applications Engineer will be part of a growing team.

The role:

  • Creating NC programmes using CAD software
  • Operate 5 axis and CNC turning machinery.
  • Communicate with customers to evaluate their specific requirements and specifications.
  • Generate quotations for special tooling.
  • Communicate with external sales team.
  • Collaborate with Germany OEM team on Tooling Packages and Projects

To succeed as an Internal Applications Engineer, you will be a time served machinist looking to move away from the shop floor and have good knowledge of precision cutting tool application in drilling, milling, reaming & thread production. We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a methodical and organised mindset and knowledge of MS Office applications. Use of CAM and awareness of SAP is favourable, but training will be given.
