CNC Turner (Programmer Trainee)
Contek are recruiting for a CNC Turner Programmer trainee to work in a company based in Birmingham. This company are a large outfit who have been in business for decades and have a modern and clean workplace.
This position you will be required to learn programming on an XYZ CNC Lathe. We are open to candidates who have experience as a CNC Turner as a setter, operator.
Requirements;
- Setting and Operating an XYZ CNC Lathe (Programming training provided)
- Ability to work from drawings
- Work to tight tolerances as would be found in the Aerospace industry
- Apprenticeship served or a solid engineering foundation with the ability to learn how to program and the will to do so.
Desired;
- Experience in programming or part programming CNC Lathes using Siemens software or similar.
- Can do attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work individually and as a team where required
- Happy to work overtime where required to.
Hours;
Monday to Thursday
07:30 - 16:30
Friday
07:30 - 12:30
