Job Title: Manual Grinder (Precision Component Grinding)
Location: Birmingham, UK
Hours: 40 hours per week (6am - 1pm)
Salary: 13 - 16.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Manual Grinder to join our team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual metal grinding, specifically in precision component grinding, and be able to work efficiently to meet production targets.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual grinding operations on various metal materials and precision components.
- Ensure precision and quality in all grinding tasks.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintain and set up grinding machines.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in manual metal grinding, with a focus on precision components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts (6am - 1pm).
