Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Manual Grinder to join our team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual metal grinding, specifically in precision component grinding, and be able to work efficiently to meet production targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual grinding operations on various metal materials and precision components.
  • Ensure precision and quality in all grinding tasks.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Maintain and set up grinding machines.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in manual metal grinding, with a focus on precision components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility to work early morning shifts (6am - 1pm).
