Contek Recruitment are currently workingwith a precision engineering company, who specialise in the manufacture of precision ceramic parts for the Medical and Scientific industries.
Due to increased workload, they are now looking for a Saw Operatorto join the team on a temporary to permanent basis. The temporary period will be for 3 months, with a view to being made permanent afterwards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Checking material allocated to be cut, length, width, thickness, spec.
- Checking cut plan, and any additional drawings to agree with advised sizes on sale order before cutting.
- Cuts and verifies parts are within customer required tolerances.
- Performing daily maintenance checks to metal saw.
- Weighing all cut pieces.
Working Hours:Monday to Friday (39hours per week) - Flexible
