Trainee CNC Sliding Head Programmer Setter Operator
*Programming experience is advantageous but full training can be given*
*Sliding head experince advantageous but training can be given if you have experience with CNC Turning and a strong understanding of Fanuc controls*
Our client, due to growth and investment within the business is looking to recruit a trainee CNC Sliding Head Programmer Setter operator to their team. Full training will be given on the companies CNC sliding head machines. As well as ongoing on site support, you will also get the chance to go on an official fully funded sliding head programming and setting course. The minimum requirement for this role is experience setting and operating CNC Lathes.
Trainee CNC Sliding Head Programmer Setter Operator
- Setting and Operating CNC Sliding head machines
- Programming CNC Sliding head machines (Advantageous)
- Programming Fanuc based machines (Advantageous)
- Working with either Citizen or STARS machines is beneficial
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Changing all the tools according to requirements and ensuring that the machine is loaded with material and set the machine count.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with the machine and tooling
- Experienced Editing tooling/ minor edits to programmes

- PermanentDays Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
- 30,000-35,000 per annum
