Assistant Site Manager - High-Rise Residential - Birmingham

The Role:

As the Assistant Site Manager, you'll support the Site Manager in overseeing the delivery of this prestigious project. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the day-to-day management of on-site activities to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team.
  • Monitoring health and safety compliance across the site.
  • Managing quality control processes to ensure all works meet the required specifications.
  • Supporting progress reporting and attending site meetings with stakeholders.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally on large-scale residential or high-rise projects.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to managing site activities.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A solid understanding of construction processes and health & safety regulations.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as an NVQ, HNC/HND in Construction, or a valid SMSTS/SSSTS certification.
