Overview
We are seeking an experienced Demolition Site Manager to oversee and manage demolition projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and demolition practices, ensuring safety and efficiency on site. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with various teams to achieve project goals.

Long term project in BIRMINGHAM.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise demolition activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Plan and organise demolition schedules, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors as necessary.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess progress and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Manage the use of power tools and hand tools, ensuring they are operated safely and effectively.
  • Train and mentor team members in demolition techniques, safety practices, and equipment usage.
  • Oversee the removal of materials such as masonry, roofing, and electrical components while minimising waste.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on site.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timelines are adhered to and project specifications are met.
