Role: Senior Site ManagerLocation: Central BirminghamSalary: £60,000 to £65,000 + car or car allowance, 25 days + bank holidays, pension, healthcare, bonus, hybrid workingWorking Arrangement: Hybrid WorkingA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Site Manager to join a leading main contractor on a high profile new build project in Birmingham. The Senior Site Manager will quickly become an instrumental part of the site based team delivering a £150m project which includes the construction of multiple RC Frame buildings.As a Senior Site Manager, your key duties will include:

  • Taking overall responsibility for the sound completion of a section of works on a major construction project, leading by example and managing the day to day delivery of the project
  • Ensuring all teams are correctly inducted, carrying out their specific roles to the highest standards and identifying areas for improvement
  • Motivating the team and managing performance, offering support through training and coaching as and when required
  • Prepare and monitor short term programmes
  • Maintain accurate project progress records
  • Ensure awareness of project budgets, cost control, cost recovery and ensuring the project expenditure is in line with the contracted budget and all resources are being utilised efficiently

The successful Senior Site Manager will need to demonstrate that they have a proven track record of delivering large scale new build projects within the education, commercial, leisure, industrial or retail sectors for a tier one main contractor. The Senior Site Manager must also have previously worked on Reinforced Concrete building projects and have excellent communication skills, familiar with site health & safety and be driven and keen to progress their careers.In return, the Senior Site Manager will be offered a position that includes an excellent work life balance, hybrid working, no limits on career progression, exposure to a large and exciting project and a generous salary & package that includes:
