Bennett and Game are currently working with a specialist remediation contractor who are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their operational team. Our client specialises in brownfield remediation, demolition, and associated civil engineering works.

The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely, on time, and within budget. They will support site engineers, manage subcontractors, and maintain effective communication with clients and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all projects.
  • Oversee site security, record-keeping, and effective communication with clients and residents.
  • Promote and maintain a positive health and safety culture by conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and method statement briefings.
  • Manage subcontractors and directly employed resources to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Assist in the generation of site-specific programmes and weekly progress reports.
  • Ensure the correct revisions of drawings, sketches, and specifications are implemented on site.
  • Oversee plant checks, unloading/loading of materials, and the completion of associated checklists.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring all works are delivered to the highest quality and recorded appropriately.
  • Support project teams by generating and reviewing RAMS to ensure compliance with site-specific requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Collaborate with the Regional Operations Manager and other senior team members to deliver projects efficiently.
  • Mentor and support site engineers, trainees, and plant operators to maintain a productive and motivated workforce.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Delivery of projects on time and within budget.
  • Positive client feedback and repeat business.
  • Accurate and timely submission of progress reports, RAMS, and records.
  • Effective management of site teams and resources to ensure project efficiency.
