Overview:

Our client, a well-established contractor, is looking to expand their team due to an influx of upcoming work. They are seeking a Site Manager to join their team to manage and oversee projects in the industrial and commercial office refurbishment & fit-out sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee projects within the industrial and commercial office refurbishment and fit-out sectors.

Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Coordinate and supervise on-site teams, including subcontractors and suppliers.

Maintain health and safety standards and ensure compliance with all legal and company-specific regulations.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.

Report on project progress, including any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as required.

Manage project budgets and ensure cost control is maintained.

Project Details:

Project Types: Industrial and commercial office refurbishments and fit-outs.

Project Values: £30k to £6 million (most frequent project value around £2 million).

Team Size on Site: Typically 15-20 people on larger format projects.

Project Locations: Primarily within the West Midlands, with occasional projects in surrounding areas.

Client Type:

Work with both end users and consultancies.

Projects include head offices as well as regional sites.

Required Experience & Skills:

Mid-level to experienced Site Manager with proven experience in managing industrial and commercial office refurbishment and fit-out projects.

Must be able to hit the ground running and manage multiple aspects of the project.

Experience in managing teams and coordinating subcontractors.

Experience working on projects with a value of £2 million and above.

Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Location & Travel:
