Remuneration: £50,000 - £65,000neg + discretionary bonusBenefits: Company vehicle & comprehensive benefits package The role of the Contracts Manager - Commercial Cladding Systems will involve:
- Contracts Manager position dealing with a high quality range of commercial cladding systems
- Managing all aspects of the contracts from the tender stage all the way through to the completion
- Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks
- Liaising with clients and providing reports for the project
- Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients
- Procuring required materials to ensure project is completed smoothly
- Overseeing project designs and making amendments where required
- Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
- Electronically documenting all contract-related correspondence, identifying and recording progress and problems
- Managing projects that range in value between £500k to £3m
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager - Felt Roofing Systems industry with:
- Must have a Contracts Manager experience within the commercial cladding markets sector with a working knowledge of rainscreen systems
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Sound knowledge of current building and fire regulations
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Full UK driving license
- Confident and articulate
- Ability to plan and organise deliverables
