NMS Recruit is seeking an experienced Project Manager specialising in Turbomachinery to collaborate with a rotating equipment expert. The role involves overseeing projects to align with the company's business goals and strategies. This opportunity offers a hybrid/remote working with travel to meet business requirements. Responsibilities
  • Leading and role-modelling positive health & safety behaviours.
  • Overall responsibility for all assigned project deliverables including but not limited to hardware, financial and commercial outputs, quality documentation, dispute management, customer satisfaction and on time delivery.
  • Evaluate customer requirements to ensure that the company is able to satisfy customer needs in terms of both service/product and pricing for tenders.
  • Ensure that sales & operations team members are adequately supported and that tenders are prepared in a timely and professional manner by the Project Estimator based on information gathered by the Technical Field Authority.
  • Overall responsibility to ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines.
  • Liaison with legal and commercial colleagues to ensure work is bid & conducted under suitable Terms & Conditions.
  • Ensuring that timely client and internal kick off meetings are arranged and that all relevant project handover documentation is completed and distributed to relevant personnel.
  • Overall responsibility for project adherence to planned & agreed client timeline.
  • Attend client site meetings as required and provide pro-active communication on job status and requirements to meet customer's expectations.
  • Preparation of quality documentation and customer quality plans.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships and interfaces with other key functions to drive all aspects of Engineering,
  • Overall responsibility for project profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Production of reliable invoicing and gross profit forecasts for assigned projects including monthly % completion forecasting
  • Management of all aspects of project finances ensuring that all activities are expedited appropriately in line with forecasts for invoices and payments
  • Overall responsibility for project related documentation to facilitate timely project close outs (supported by operations)
  • Liaising with operations supervision on a daily/weekly basis to ensure work scopes progress WIP on plan and customers are regularly updated
  • Warranty handling, investigation, communication and resolution where required.
Experience•HND in engineering or business discipline and/or relevant experience within related industry • Experience of managing complex projects• Experience of contract negotiation in a commercial environment• Supplier/Customer management experience• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP or other ERP systemBenefits
