Project Manager – Enterprise Transformation Programme

£50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Hybrid – 2-3 days per week in Parklands

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Transformation Programme, the Project Manager plays a pivotal role within the Enterprise Change Team, responsible for managing and delivering key projects within the OS2.0 transformation programme and other enterprise-wide initiatives.

As Project Manager you will lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills, as you will be engaging with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, defining clear timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor daily project activities, adjusting as necessary to keep progress on track and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure all project workstreams are delivered within scope, budget, and to high standards of quality.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Regularly engage with key stakeholders, including senior leaders and external partners, providing updates on progress, risks, and key decisions.
  • Ensure effective communication across project teams to foster collaboration and alignment.
  • Present regular project reports and updates to senior leadership.

Risk and Issue Management:

  • Identify potential project risks early and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact.
  • Escalate critical risks when needed, ensuring swift resolution to keep the project on track.
  • Maintain a risk register and provide stakeholders with regular updates on risk management.

Resource and Budget Management:

  • Ensure project teams have the necessary skills and resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Lead to monitor project budgets and track expenditures, ensuring projects remain within financial limits.
  • Provide forecasts for resource and budget needs aligned with broader programme goals.

Quality Assurance and Control:

  • Ensure that all deliverables meet required quality standards and strategic objectives.
  • Implement quality control processes, reviewing outputs regularly to ensure business needs are met.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Coordinate efforts across sectors and departments, ensuring project workstreams align with enterprise-wide transformation goals.
  • Foster collaboration between internal teams, vendors, and external partners to achieve cohesive project delivery.

The successful Project Manager will have:

  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex projects in multi-sector environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high standards.
  • Experience managing risks, resources, and budgets effectively.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise in project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello) and reporting systems.
