Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of a defined section or package of works within the HS2 programme

  • Ensure works are delivered to time, cost, quality, and safety targets

  • Manage project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholder interfaces

  • Monitor and report on programme progress, risks, and mitigations

  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle

  • Champion a positive health, safety, and environmental culture on-site

  • Work closely with commercial and planning teams to ensure accurate forecasting and change control

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on major civil engineering or infrastructure schemes

  • Prior involvement in NEC contracts

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills

  • Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management

  • CSCS, SMSTS, and a full UK driving licence
