Your new companyYou will be joining an established utilities contractor based in the Birmingham area working on multi-utility schemes for high-profile clients. This organisation offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development as well as the opportunity to work on an array of exciting projects. Having secured an additional £30m worth of work on top of their already healthy order book, they are looking for a Project Manager to join their team.#Your new roleAs Project Manager, you will be based in the Birmingham area and be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Managing and coordinating direct labour and subcontractors on multi-site projects
  • Conducting site visits and inspection to ensure compliance with safety regulations and specifications
  • Providing regular project updates and reports to senior management
  • Ensuring alignment with project goals and industry standards
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site at all times
  • Collaborating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring schemes are delivered safely on time, within budget and to expected quality.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience of managing civil projects from inception through to completion of power/electrical contracts
  • Water/Utilities Experience
  • CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
