My client is a progressive and technical solutions business based in Birmingham. An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join their team. Reporting into the Programme Manager this role will entail managing multiple projects. This is a client facing role so will require Project Managers who enjoy building relationships with clients and are very service delivery led.

Applicants will ideally experience of managing projects within :

  • Built environment.
  • Planning
  • Surveying
  • Engineering Land referencing
  • Digital mapping/GIS

The Project Manager will direct and motivate Project team to ensure completion to the highest of standards. The role will entail:

  • To ensure the operation of Projects at the highest standard
  • To manage. Monitor and report financial success of each project.
  • Developing and agreeing detailed project plans including all project documentation
  • Liaise and report to project board.
  • Direct and motivate leaders and managers and manage resource.
  • Manage technical quality of service deliverables and progress against plan, reporting/escalating and deviations to the programme manager and/or project board.
  • Managing client relationships through project life cycle.

Applicants will have previous experience managing multiple projects within a service environment. You will have strong financial budget management skills being able to forecast against budget. You will also have a proven track record of managing project risks and issues and liaise with the project board. Applicants will ideally have experience of managing projects within: Built environment, Planning, Surveying, Engineering Land referencing, Digital mapping/GIS.
