Senior Project Manager - Leisure & Hospitality

A leading leisure operator with a diverse UK-wide estate, ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 sq. ft. sites, is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its dynamic, client side, property team. Reporting to the Property Director and working closely with the Head of Projects, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-profile refurbishment and capital projects across the UK estate.
The Role:
As a client-side Senior Project Manager, you'll take full ownership of projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless delivery in line with business objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading multiple capital projects valued between £500k - £5m, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Managing external consultants, designers, architects, and cost consultants, ensuring alignment with the business brief.
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, and Senior Management, to ensure projects deliver maximum ROI.
- Chairing regular project team meetings, reporting on progress, risks, and costs.
- Overseeing health & safety compliance and ensuring projects have minimal disruption to business operations and customer experience.
- Driving innovation and efficiency, identifying opportunities to improve project delivery.
About You:
We're looking for a highly commercial, customer-focused project manager with strong technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience leading large-scale fit-out projects in the leisure, hospitality, or F&B sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, Planning & Building Regulations, and contract management.
- The ability to manage multiple projects, problem-solve effectively, and make fast, commercially sound decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at senior levels.
- A highly motivated, flexible, and detail-oriented approach to delivering projects in a fast-paced environment.
