Job Description:

Immediate Start! 

We are currently seeking an experienced Bricklayer's Labourer / Bricklayer's Mate to join our team in Coventry. This is an immediate start position offering £15 per hour. Long ter work.  The successful candidate will have previous experience working with bricklayers, specifically in knocking up muck and providing general labouring support on construction sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Knocking up muck: Mixing mortar and ensuring the bricklayer has a steady supply of prepared material.
  • Supporting bricklayers: Assisting in the setup and preparation of materials for bricklaying projects.
  • General Labouring Duties: Assisting with site clean-up, moving materials, and other ad-hoc tasks as needed.
  • Lifting and handling materials such as bricks, mortar, and tools to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment on site, following health and safety guidelines.
  • Supporting with scaffold and site preparation when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Bricklayer’s Mate / Labourer, specifically with experience in knocking up muck for bricklaying.
  • Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and moving heavy materials.
  • Good knowledge of construction site safety and practices.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work unsupervised when required.
  • Own transport is preferred but not essential.
