Permanent: 75,000 - 85,000 + Package
Location: Birmingham City Centre
We are seeking a driven Construction Contracts Manager eager to join a highly successful and rapidly expanding Fit Out contractor based in Birmingham. Due to a series of recent project wins across the East and West Midlands, they are looking to bring a skilled Construction Contracts Manager on board to strengthen their senior management team.
This business is in an exciting growth phase, fueled by ongoing market success and strong support from repeat clients. We need an individual ready to take on the challenge of elevating the company's success to new heights.
The Role:
- Oversee and manage multiple drylining projects simultaneously throughout the East and West Midlands.
- Ensure each project is executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Cultivate and maintain solid relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Supervise on-site teams, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress, produce reports, and adjust timelines and targets as necessary.
- Proactively address any challenges or delays that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections to guarantee compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement effective project management strategies.
The Person:
- Proven experience as a Construction Contracts Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry, focusing on drylining and projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, health and safety standards, and project management practices.
- Extensive hands-on experience delivering SFS, drylining, ceilings, and finishes packages.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of current building regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools.
- Valid UK driving license.
