Salary: 50,000- 55,000 per annum

Think Recruitment has partnered with a well-known contractor specializing in providing safe and supportive accommodation for vulnerable adults. They also deliver disability adaptations in private homes across Birmingham.

We are currently looking for Contacts Manager based local to Birmingham to help with overseeing the execution of contracts, managing site operations, and ensuring the seamless progress of projects. This position requires a combination of strong organisational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Duties will include:

  • Conduct negotiations with subcontractors, and vendors to establish mutually beneficial terms.
  • Draft contracts and agreements, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and completeness of terms.
  • Review contract terms and conditions to identify potential areas of risk.
  • Coordinate contract execution and implementation, including obtaining necessary approvals and signatures.
  • Maintain organised contract files and documentation for easy reference and retrieval.
  • Track contract KPI's (see appendix 1) to ensure timely fulfilment of obligations.
  • Facilitate contract amendments and modifications as necessary to accommodate changes in project scope or requirements

Experience/Skills required:

  • Knowledge of environmental and property legislation, focusing on housing is essential.
  • Ability to write technical specifications, reports and instruction for staff and contractors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to lead, inspire, motivate and develop staff building teams to deliver to the vison and values
  • Understanding of relevant statutory regulations to relating to housing provider.
  • Understanding health and safety regulations
