Here at Pertemps Network Catering, we are currently recruiting for a Cook/Chef to work alongside with our clients for a busyresidential Home/Hospital unit based in Stirchley B30.

Hours: Monday- Friday 9am-5.00pm

Valid Enhanced DBS needed


Food and Hygiene & Allergen Certificate

The role will involve working as part of their catering team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking nutritious meals for the patients in the hospital style unit.

The role will require candidates to be available to work 5 days out of 7 on a weekly rota.


Cook/Chef Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality meals for students and staff, adhering to the hospital culinary standards.
  • Plan and execute daily menus, considering nutritional balance, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and work collaboratively to ensure efficient operations.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
  • Adapt menus to accommodate dietary needs and preferences.
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste reduction.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is well-maintained and report any maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of food preparation and kitchen procedures.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
