We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Flood Modeller to join our client, a well-respected, dynamic and rapidly growing construction consultancy. They specialise in project management, quantity surveying and building consultancy, and are looking to expand their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a range of flood risk management projects, working across various sectors, and delivering impactful solutions to communities and organisations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyse key data on factors affecting flooding, such as rainfall, river flows, tides, and land use.
  • Model Development: Develop and apply models to simulate water movement across landscapes and environments, including river and coastal flood models.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify areas at high risk of flooding, assess potential impacts, and predict flood frequency and severity.
  • Flood Management Advice: Provide expert advice on flood mitigation measures, including flood defences, land use planning, and drainage solutions.
