The Sales leader will drive business growth with a clear progression pathway to move up within the business and manage the UK sales operation.

The Role

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities with new and existing customers across diverse industries including Robotics, Automation, Aerospace, Medical and Electronics.
  • Building strong relationships with key strategic and high value customers and stakeholders
  • Maintaining the company's standing as the No.1 OEM in their respective field.
  • Visiting customers on-site, attending trade shows and exhibitions
  • Contribute to the overall growth strategy and vision of the company in the UK and Europe
  • Working closely with the current senior management team with clear trajectory through succession planning

Requirements

  • A BEng, HNC, HND or similar/equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
  • A Sales/Business Development or Key Accountprofessional with 10 years of experience in the Industrial Automation industry with a mechanical bias
  • A demonstrable track record supporting OEMs in Industriessuch as Industrial Automation & Robotics, Medical, Manufacturing,Aerospace, Transport systems and Electronics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with clients at all levels
  • A strategic thinker who can balance both business development and operational management
  • A Sales professional who is at the right stage in their career, ready to take the step into a senior leadership role
