Senior Driver Trainer / InstructorNational £50,000 - £54,000 + Car + Benefits

Cast UK are delighted to have partnered with an established and growing company as they look to strengthen their Driver Training function. Reporting into the Head of Compliance, you'll work across the national network of depots, taking a lead on delivering ADR and Driver CPC training to a varied workforce of drivers. The role will include national travel so you will need a full UK driving license and willingness to travel in line with business requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver customised training modules for complex operational challenges.
  • Evaluate driver practices through safety audits, providing actionable improvement reports.
  • Facilitate incident analysis workshops to enhance proactive risk management.
  • Collaborate with departments to integrate safety practices organisation-wide.
  • Mentor and develop future trainers to expand the training team's expertise.
  • Create and maintain training records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Organise refresher courses for drivers, keeping them updated on latest safety protocols.
  • Provide on-the-road coaching to reinforce safe driving behaviors in real-time

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience delivering mandatory DVSA/SQA driver, CPC and ADR training.
  • Valid ADR Training Certificate 2,3,8, refreshed every 5 years.
  • Strong background in safety-first environments with demonstrated compliance expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of independent work and remote collaboration.
  • IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office, for managing training documentation and records.
