I am delighted to work exclusively with a leading engineering organisation to recruit an L&D Manager in Birmingham. You will be responsible for designing learning programs and resources, collaborating across our business and leveraging the team's expertise and learning technology where appropriate.
This is a business facing role, partnering withstakeholders to understand learning and performance gaps, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives. At its core, this is an instructional design role in which you will design and develop engaging blended learning content to best address learning needs including workshops, e-learning modules, video material and coaching sessions.
You will support will the continued implementation and improved functionality of the newly implemented LMS, along with the continued creation of the skills matrix and skills taxonomies. You will work with stakeholders to curate and improve existing content to support performance and capability outcomes, measuring learning and performance outcomes.
I'm keen to speak to Learning & Development Managers, ideally from complex manufacturing or engineering environments, with a strong background in designing fit for purposed blended learning solutions. You are tech savvy, comfortable utilising various learning technologies and managing projects from beginning to end.
You have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, you are driven by cross collaboration and process improvements. Working in a very busy, very lean team, you need to be self-motivated, organised and comfortable managing your own project plans and workload.
