KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title: Quality and Training Manager (WBL / Apprenticeships)Location: Home based - travel to offices as requiredSalary:  £38,000 - £40,000 (Depending on skills and experience)Type: Full Time, PermanentKM are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a private training organisation, who is looking to appoint an experienced Quality and Training Manager, to manage and implement quality management processes, to meet requirements of awarding bodies, ESFA and OFSTED for Apprenticeship delivery. Duties include:
  • Responsible for the design and management of our clients Apprentice quality processes across the business - implementing, improving and reviewing processes to ensure quality and compliance requirements are maintained.
  • Ensure all quality standards and processes are met, and changes are implemented, across the business
  • Create an effective Quality Assurance system, ensuring that all staff adhere quality assurance standards.
  • Develop and review delivery materials and resources,  to be used across the business, for the delivery of Apprenticeships
  • Lead and Manage standardisation meetings.
  • Oversee a team of 4 direct reports.
  • Conduct observations of teaching and learning to ensure quality standards are met at all times - Identify staff training needs/development and support as required.
  • Oversee the implementation of QIP
  • Produce regular reports on quality within the business and present to management / stakeholders (SAR / QIP)
  • Contribute to the annual Self-Assessment Report and support with Ofsted inspections.
  • Support with curriculum development
  • Maintain knowledge on key policy developments in relation to teaching, learning and assessment
Criteria:
  • Prior experience of working as a Quality Manager within the Work Based Learning / Skills sector.
  • Must be a qualified Assessor and IQA.
  • Strong knowledge of ESFA, Ofsted, Awarding Bodies and funding rules.
  • Proven experience of improving quality standards for Apprenticeships.
  • Experience of leading and implementing new quality processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
