We are recruiting for a Neighbourhood Officer :
Experience
- Experience of working for a housing services provider in a role involving regular interaction with the public or demonstration of other relevant experience
- Ability to demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service in all activities
- Experience of working with customers internally and externally and partner agencies to support the delivery of the business.
Skills
- Able to communicate in verbally and in writing
- Ability to manage, organise and prioritise own workload.
- Ability to carry our interviews to discuss sensitive tenancy management issues, anti-social behaviour, neighbourhood disputes and provision of appropriate advise of guidance where necessary.
- IT skills in order to input and retrieve data and analysis.
- Embraces the need for and adapts positively to change, resilient to challenges, obstacles and handling conflict.
- Demonstrates understanding of a commitment to principles of equality and diversity
Required Experience
* General housing management experience
* Dealing with ASB
* Tenancy management
* Estate and block inspections
* Dealing with challenging situations, safeguarding etc
* Needs to be able to manage a patch of approx. 500 properties.
