Job Advert: Court Officer - Birmingham Youth Offending Court Team
Location: BirminghamPay Rate: £18.78 - £23.24 per hour

Service Care Solutions, in partnership with Birmingham Children's Trust, is recruiting a Court Officer for the Youth Offending Court Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the Youth Offending Service in Birmingham Youth, Magistrates, and Crown Court settings.
- Prepare and present formal reports, safeguarding assessments, and risk evaluations.
- Promote interventions to assist young people, their families, victims, and the community.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes.
- Address safeguarding issues and provide effective advocacy in court.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience working with young people in the Criminal Justice System.
- Knowledge of criminal legislation affecting youths.
- Strong communication, advocacy, and assessment skills.
- Experience preparing reports and handling safeguarding concerns.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information:
- Work on Saturdays and Bank Holidays will be required on a rota basis.
