Service Care Solutions, in partnership with Birmingham Children's Trust, is recruiting a Court Officer for the Youth Offending Court Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Youth Offending Service in Birmingham Youth, Magistrates, and Crown Court settings.
  • Prepare and present formal reports, safeguarding assessments, and risk evaluations.
  • Promote interventions to assist young people, their families, victims, and the community.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Address safeguarding issues and provide effective advocacy in court.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience working with young people in the Criminal Justice System.
  • Knowledge of criminal legislation affecting youths.
  • Strong communication, advocacy, and assessment skills.
  • Experience preparing reports and handling safeguarding concerns.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

  • Work on Saturdays and Bank Holidays will be required on a rota basis.
