Venatu Recruitment Group is recruiting a Contentious Probate Solicitor to join our client's team at their Birmingham City or Shirley office. This is a fantastic opportunity to handle high-quality contentious probate matters while working within a Legal 500 firm.
Location: Birmingham City Office / Shirley Office
Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
- Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- 1 hour for lunch (37 hours total)
The ideal candidate…
- A Contentious Probate Solicitor with 10+ years PQE
Excellent client care and interpersonal skills
May have contacts in the local market and some following of work
A confident communicator who enjoys business development & networking
ACTAPS qualification preferred but not essential

Handle a mixed caseload of high-quality matters, including:
- Disputes between beneficiaries and executors/trustees
- Estate and trust administration disputes
- Supervise junior team members and contribute to business development
