Gleeson are delighted to be working with a UK-leading media agency in their search for a Digital Account Director.
This is a role which has been created due to growth of the business and their continued success in 2024. The role will see you managing the already established digital team, which is a team of 9.
Ideally, you will have worked agency side and have experience managing a team of a similar size. You will need to have experience in managing key accounts - whether that be B2B or B2C.

"What will I be doing day-to-day?"
- You will be leading on digital campaigns and developing relationships with key clients to ensure they are growing and profitable.
- Overseeing campaigns across Paid Social, Display and PPC.
- Implementing and optimising digital campaigns where necessary, suggesting ways to improve efficiencies for clients.
- Keeping up to date with new media opportunities across digital channels.
- Effectively managing and nurturing client teams to deliver exceptional levels of service.
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities for both existing and future clients.
- Working closely with account management team to deliver campaigns that reach clients target audience and objectives in a timely fashion.
- Maintaining a detailed awareness of relevant media research and market trends for client accounts.
- Delivering end-to-end digital campaigns from client briefings, attending meetings, to overseeing campaign performance pre-and post-delivery.
- Representing the business on all levels externally, building and maintaining excellent relationships with roster agencies.
- Managing budgets and monitor profitability of digital accounts to hit agency targets.

- Experience in Paid Social and Google Ads.
- Experience in Google Analytics.
- Possess both a strategic and commercial mindset.
- Personable and adept at building relationships both internally and externally.
- Ability to juggle a multitude of campaigns and have a sharp eye for detail.
- Decisive nature with strong problem-solving skills.
- Good motivator, skilled at giving immediate and honest specific praise.
- Experience of managing junior to mid-level members of a team.
- Knowledgeable about trends in media research, media landscape and how translate into new opportunities.
- Effective negotiator and trader, adept at closing sales and increasing profits.
