Credit Control Supervisor

SF are working exclusively with a rapidly growing and market leading recruitment firm based in Birmingham, with further offices across the UK including London, Manchester and Glasgow. Their finance team is based in Birmingham, they are fun and hard working bunch, who are looking for like minded individual to come in and lead a team of 3 Credit Controllers. This is a newly created position within the business, so a real opportunity for the right candidate to make it their own, reporting directly into both the Finance Manager and the CFO.

In your new role:

Oversee & lead a team of 3 Credit Controllers, looking after a ledger made up of 2000 live customers
Responsible for a sales ledger of £6-7million a month
You will be hands on, focussing on escalated queries, high risk clients and portal lead customers
Reporting weekly to the FM and FD, looking for improvements within processes and to the bespoke Credit Management software that was implemented successfully last year
Training and developing the team, with regular one on ones with the team

What you'll need

Previous experience leading a team
A can do attitude, dynamic and proactive in their approach
Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally with customers
Strong understanding of Credit management and risk
