Description
The Credit Controller will;
- Manage and track invoices efficiently, ensuring payments are received on time.
- Work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Handle customer queries regarding invoices and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve any issues related to payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Contribute to team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Continuously seek to improve processes and performance within the finance department.
Profile
A successful 'Credit Controller' should have:
- A strong academic background in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Proven experience in a Credit Control role within the Transport & Distribution industry.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- An ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
