This is a brilliant opportunity to build your professional work experience - putting your proven customer service skills, perhaps gained in hospitality or retail, into use in an office-based role! The role will be supporting customers via a live chat function during the firm’s busiest period. So you’ll work a shift pattern of 5 out of 7 days, which can include weekends. Weekday hours are 1pm-9pm and weekend hours are 10am-6pm.

Working for an international business with operations across the UK and US you will be part of a specialist project team supporting with a seasonal uptick of business over November, December and January. They have great training, a strong corporate offering as well as great staff perks. This role has two weeks in office training then allows for up to full time remote working - so you can work from anywhere!

The role:

  • Working on the live chat function for customers and clients who need support with the external e-commerce site
  • Linking them to support internally
  • Helping with ad hoc queries

Skills:

  • Good typing skills and the ability to produce well written communications in a live chat workplace.
  • Service oriented and the desire to help!
  • Good attention to detail and self-motivated if working from home.
  • Adaptable and a warm, friendly manner!

Full training will be given including specialist training on the services and products as well as the bespoke IT systems. You’ll be part of small project team starting on 4th November and working until 31st January 2025.
